Please contact these persons as soon as possible to express you interest in assisting, our season is only “WEEKS” away.
We will be holding the final 2 nights of walk in Registrations for fall soccer on Wednesday June 2nd, and Thursday June 3rd from 6pm to 8pm in the cafeteria of the Middle School. Fall Soccer is open to all children who live or go to school in EB, and in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. All first time players must also supply a copy of their birth certificate that will be kept on file. The cost for the program is $65 with Family Cap of $130.
This will be the final opportunity to register in person. Mail in Registrations will be accepted through June 30th. Any registrations received AFTER June 30th will be subject to a $25 late fee, per registration. The final deadline for all Mail In Registrations is August 15th.
We are also in need of volunteers for all kinds of tasks (coaching a team, working at the Snack Bar, lining fields) to help our program to continue to thrive and grow. We will have sign up sheets available for volunteers on the 2nd and the 3rd as well.
At Wednesday’s May 19th meeting, the EBYSA Board unanimously voted to move the expected June tryouts to September of 2010 (for team placement for the Spring of 2011 season). This change was made as a result of numerous scheduling conflicts including the availability of the independent tryout evaluators, conflicts with the State Cup, SSSL playoffs, other spring events (graduations, end of school, etc), and EB hosting the SSSL playoffs on June 9th, 10th, and 12th. The tryouts will now be held for all age levels over the course of one weekend in September, set to be Saturday, September 18th and Sunday, September 19th.
